Who this is for
Administrators | Google Workspace admins
Summary
Administrators can help users access Hāpara by setting up managed bookmarks, browser startup pages, school portal links or shared shortcuts. Teachers and students can also create their own personal bookmarks if managed bookmarks are not used.
Hāpara login pages
| Role | Login page |
|---|---|
| Teachers | https://app.hapara.com |

| Students | https://app.hapara.com/student |
Recommended Hāpara bookmarks by product
Before creating bookmarks, decide which Hāpara products each user group needs to access. Some products open from the same Hāpara page and do not require a separate bookmark.

| Student Dashboard | Students | https://app.hapara.com/student | Access student learning tools. |
| Workspace | Teachers | https://app.hapara.com/workspace | Access Workspace directly. |
| Workspace | Students | https://app.hapara.com/student | Students access Workspace from Student Dashboard. |

| Hall Pass | Students | https://app.hapara.com/student | Students access Hall Pass from Student Dashboard when it is enabled for their school. |
Recommended approach for administrators
For school-wide access, the recommended approach is to manage Hāpara bookmarks centrally. This helps teachers, students and administrators open the correct Hāpara page without needing to create bookmarks themselves.
Option 1: Add managed bookmarks
Use managed bookmarks when you want Hāpara links to appear automatically for users.
- Open the Google Admin console or Microsoft admin tool used by your organization.
- Go to the browser or device settings used to manage bookmarks.
- Create bookmarks for the Hāpara pages or products users need.
- Use clear bookmark names, such as:
- Hāpara Admin
- Hāpara Dashboard
- Hāpara Student Dashboard
- Hāpara Workspace
- Hāpara Highlights
- Hāpara Hall Pass
- Assign each bookmark to the correct user group or organizational unit.
- Test the bookmarks with one administrator account, one teacher account and one student account.
Option 2: Set a Hāpara page as a browser startup page
Use a startup page when users should see a Hāpara page when the browser opens.
- Open the admin console used to manage your school browsers or devices.
- Go to the browser startup page settings.
- Add the correct Hāpara page or product link.
- Apply the setting to the correct user group or organizational unit.
- Test the startup page before applying it to all users.
