Not able to sign into my Hāpara teacher account Follow
Login issues are often a result of using a bookmark or shortcut that is linked to a previous year's class, though other scenarios can cause them as well.
Fix it quickly by:
Using this direct URL to access Hāpara:
Teacher access: https://app.hapara.com
If this doesn't resolve the issue immediately, fix it with the steps below (start at Solution 1 and work down).
Problem
I am a teacher and unable to sign in to my Hāpara account.
Solution 1: Sign out of all Google accounts, then sign back in with school account
1. In Gmail (or any Google page), click your profile photo (top right) > Sign out to sign out of all accounts.
2. Sign back in using your school Google account only.
3. Go to app.hapara.com (don’t use a bookmark).
Solution 2: Clear Chrome browsing data
Copy/paste into Chrome:
chrome://settings/clearBrowserDataClick Advanced > set Time range to All time.

Cookies and other site data
Cached images and files
Hosted app data
Click Delete data.
Solution 3: Allow third-party cookies
Copy/paste into Chrome:
chrome://settings/privacy-
Under Privacy and security > Third-party cookies, choose Allow third-party cookies.
Steps to take if you're still experiencing a sign-in issue
Try an Incognito window and repeat Solution 3 to confirm third-party cookies aren’t blocked.
If you are using a school-managed device, contact your IT administrator. Confirm that your Chrome policies allow Hāpara sign-in and that you’re using your school Google account.
Additional tips
Avoid using old bookmarks to open Hāpara. Always type app.hapara.com.
If you use multiple Google accounts, consider a separate Chrome Profile for your school account to prevent account mix-ups.
If your district uses Microsoft for identity, confirm your organization’s approved sign-in method with your IT administrator.
