Google Classroom students will not sync Follow
If you're a teacher who is not seeing a Google Classroom student appear in Hāpara, follow these steps to fix the issue.
Problem
My student has been added to my Google Classroom class, but they are not showing up in Hāpara.
Solution
1. Verify that the student has signed into their school-issued Google account so that you know the account is active. If this is a new or returning student, it is possible that your Google Admin hasn't created the student account or reenabled it.
2. Next, verify that the student has accepted the Google Classroom invitation. In Google Classroom, the student will be listed as invited until they accept the invitation. In their email account, they should find the email invitation you sent them to join the class, and then accept the invitation.
3. The next step is to manually sync your Google Classroom class in your Hāpara teacher account.
- Click Manage Classes in the dark bar at the top of your account. > Then click My Classes in the white bar below it.
- Next on the class tile, click on the three dots to open the menu.
- Select View class info.
- On the next page that opens, click Sync class at the top of the page.
