Settings - General Follow
In general settings, you can configure your domain timezone and set the landing module for teachers.

Domain timezone
Hāpara uses your local time to determine if teachers should be able to see student activity in Highlights and for scheduling things like guided browsing sessions.
Setting your domain timezone
To set the timezone for your domain, follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to Settings from the home page of the Hāpara Admin Console.
2. Click General from the Settings page.
3. From the General settings page, you will see the Timezone option. This will have an Edit button to set the timezone for your domain.
4. Click the Edit button to see a drop-down list of timezones. Then select your preferred timezone.
5. Click Save.
Landing module
The Landing module configuration allows Hāpara administrators to select which application teachers will land in when clicking on a class.
Depending on your school focus/preference, teachers will either land in Teacher Dashboard or Highlights.
In Teacher Dashboard, teachers can view student Drive folders and files. In Highlights, the monitoring feature, teachers can view student internet browsing activity.
How to select a landing module for your school
1. From the Settings page within the Hāpara Admin Console, click General.
2. Select Landing module. Then click the Edit button.
4. Select the module you would like teachers to land on (Highlights or Dashboard) and then click Save.
Note: This can only be turned on at the district level.
