User permissions allow you to manage the School Domain Google Directory and grant access to people in your organization.

Hāpara has been granted all necessary permissions through the installation of the Marketplace App but needs the identity of one account that can make Directory API calls.
We recommend that you create an account specific to Hāpara in your Google Workspace. This ensures that access will remain uninterrupted as staff members come and go.
The minimum requirement for this account is that it has Google user and group management privileges.
Updating Google Directory Admin User
To view and update your Google Directory Admin User, follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to 'User Permissions' from the Hāpara Admin Console home screen.
2. Select 'Google' from the user permissions options.
3. Click the 'Edit' button next to the email address field to update the Google Directory Admin User account and then 'Save.'
