Data logs page overview
The Data logs page shows current and historical data loads, including Archiving.
Knowing how to work with the Data logs page will help you understand the outcome of your Class and Student data loads, and can quickly reveal the small things that might be preventing your data from processing.
Load history
When class or student data is loaded into Hāpara, an entry is added to the load history table so you can track the progress and outcome of your load.
Column Name | Description |
Job ID | Unique load identifier, click Download to open full load details |
Filename | The name of the file loaded. [SP] indicates a clickable link to the spreadsheet |
Description | The time and data the load was started |
Status | The status of the data load, this will update upon refreshing the page or clicking Refresh List |
Actions | Click View Details to see more load details |

Description |
Completed with no errors |
Hurray! The class or student data has loaded successfully. No errors or warnings encountered. |

Complete, but with errors |
The class or student data has loaded, but with errors or warnings which require investigation. Click View Details to learn more. |
|
Load has failed to initiate |
This error is just the worst, the load has failed in the earliest stages of validation. Click View Details to learn more. |
Actions
From Actions, the View details button will populate the details of the individual load. Each row directly correlates with the file that has been uploaded, and contains the status of everything that happens as the file is being processed.

Timestamp | The date and time this detail was logged |
Type |
The type of message logged: INFO: Lowest level of log, INFO advises what step is being processed WARN: This row has generated a lower level error, see this article for more ERROR: This row has generated an error, see this article for a list of errors FATAL: The load has aborted, no further rows are processed |
