Workspace Discover page - How to find and use pre-made Workspaces Follow
Looking for some Workspace inspiration? Want to get started using Workspace but not sure how? The Workspace Discover page is the place for you!
When you click on “Discover” at the top of your Workspace homepage, you have access to thousands of pre-made Workspaces created by Hāpara teachers from around the world.
You can browse collections of Workspaces aligned to local standards, or the featured Workspaces – a curated collection of great Workspaces, created by teachers and selected by the Hāpara team.
You can also search for Workspaces on the topics you’re already teaching by subject, grade, standard or keyword. To search by grade or subject, tick the boxes next to the relevant grades and subjects on the left side of the Discover page. You can use the standards drop down to further narrow your results.
To search by keyword, enter your search terms in the box at the top of the Discover page. This will bring in results from the thousands of public Workspaces that teachers have shared over the years. The subject, grade and standards filters will help you find the most relevant results.
When you click on a Workspace in your search results, a preview panel will appear. This panel will contain the full description of the Workspace as well as any grades, standards or subjects it has been aligned to. If you’d like to view the full Workspace, click Open Workspace. A read-only version of the Workspace will open in a new tab.
If you’d like to use this Workspace with your students, click Copy in the top right corner. It may take a minute or two to generate the copy. Once it is done, you will have the option to view your copy of the Workspace or continue exploring the read-only version.
Once you’ve made a copy of a Workspace, you can find it under “Owned by me” on the My Workspaces homepage. You can edit this Workspace in any way you’d like to meet the needs of your learners.
