Google Authentication updates: Re-establish Hāpara access to your domain Follow
Hāpara has released several back-end updates that were necessary due to upcoming changes Google is making related to authentication.
Those who use Hāpara grant Google permissions when working within the Hāpara Instructional Suite. As our team rolls out changes, a minority of users may need to re-establish authentication with Hāpara. They will be prompted to do so when selecting files within the Hāpara Instructional Suite or the Hāpara Admin Console.
Admins and teachers may see this pop-up authentication prompt below:
Clicking Continue will ensure that users on your domain can continue to select files within Hāpara.
Teachers may see the re-authentication pop-up in the Hāpara Instructional Suite in these situations:
1. Within Workspace when adding a file to a Workspace Card.
2. In Teacher Dashboard when teachers use the "Share files" feature.
Administrators may see the re-authentication pop-up in the Hāpara Admin Console in this situation:
1. Within the Hāpara Admin Console when manually loading class and student data through Class Rostering.
NOTE: Are teachers seeing an error message on Workspace Cards after reauthorizing the Google authentication: Uh oh! Couldn't contact Google Drive? If so, please follow the steps below to regrant access to the Hāpara Google Workspace Marketplace app:
