How to log in to Hāpara using your school Google account Follow

Account sign-in overview
To log in, open Chrome. Make sure you’re signed into your school-managed Google account.
On the Hāpara sign-in page, select Sign in with Google. Choose your school account.
If you see errors, check that you’re using the correct school-managed Chrome account. Also, be sure to allow third-party cookies.
Steps for teachers or students to follow to log in with Google
Open Google Chrome.

Confirm that you’re logged in to your school Chrome account.
Click your profile photo (top-right). It should show your school email (e.g., name@school.org).
If it shows a personal email, switch to your school profile or Add your school account.
Visit the Hāpara sign-in page at app.hapara.com.
Next, click Sign in with Google.
Select your school account when prompted.

If asked, grant the requested permissions. > You'll then be logged in to Hāpara.
Solutions to follow if you can’t sign in
If you're not able to sign in to Hāpara, check the following solutions:
1. Are you using your personal Google account?
Log out of your personal Google accounts. > Then switch to your school Chrome account.
2. Are third-party cookies being blocked?
Allow third-party cookies for Hāpara (Visit Chrome > Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data).
3. Are you using multiple Google accounts that are active?
Sign out of your non-school accounts. > Then make sure you're logged in to your school Google account.
4. Are you using a device that is not managed by your school?
Make sure you log in with your school Chrome account. If you're still having issues, contact your IT team or Hāpara administrator.
Additional tips
Administrators: Verify that the teacher or student exists in your roster sync and Google Workspace. > Then check if that the user has a Hāpara license/role.
Teachers: If a sign-in loop occurs, clear your Google cache/cookies and retry.
Students: Always sign into Google Chrome first. > Then sign into Hāpara.
