Digital Backpack student experience overview
Students can find their Digital Backpack materials in their Student Dashboards at app.mystudentdashboard.com, alongside their Google Classroom assignments, grades, announcements and more.
Students will log into their Student Dashboard with their school-issued Google account.
In the Backpack tab, students can see all of the materials that have been shared with them from all of their classes, or filter their view to just see the materials for one class at a time.
Students can open their resources right from their Dashboards and will be taken to a digital reader that works on any device and in any browser.
The digital reader
The digital reader is a responsive, accessible e-reading experience that allows students to access their school reading materials from any device and in any browser.

Students can read through an entire chapter or section on a single page with the continuous scroll.
Students can navigate to specific sections of their digital texts using the table of contents on the left side of most resources and clicking on the chapter they would like to view.
The arrows on either side of the text also allow students to move back and forth between chapters.
Students can find the original PDF version of each chapter by scrolling all the way to the bottom.
What happens when I share a resource to my class?
When a resource is shared with a class, it becomes visible in the Backpack tab of the Student Dashboard for all of the students in that class.
Students can use the class list menu at the top of their Dashboard to see the resources for a specific class.
Students do not receive a notification that they have been given access to a new resource. If there are specific instructions for what you would like students to do with that material, you will need to provide those instructions separately.
Once you share a resource to students, they can access that resource directly from their Backpack in Student Dashboard.
