My Resources overview
My Resources is where you will find all of the Digital Backpack resources you have shared or starred. This is your home base in Digital Backpack for managing your materials.
There are two primary sections of My Resources: Starred and My Classes.
Starred resources
This is where any of the resources you star in the Our Library or Discover tabs can be found. Starring resources is a great way to save a resource for later that you do not want to assign to your students right away. You may also want to star teacher-facing resources that you would like to be able to access quickly, but don’t ever intend on assigning to students.
If you would like to remove a resource from the Starred section, just click the star on the resource tile again. You can also un-star a resource from the resource preview by opening the preview and then clicking Remove from starred.
If you would like to share a resource that you have starred to a class, you can do so by clicking Share on the resource tile, or by opening the resource preview and clicking Share to classes.
Clicking either of these buttons will open your class list. If your school or district subscribes to the full Hāpara suite, this will be your list of Hāpara classes. If your school only subscribes to Digital Backpack, this will be a list of your Google Classroom classes.
To share a resource to a class, just tick the box next to the class name, then click Save.
My classes
The My classes list is pulled in automatically.
If your school subscribes to the full Hāpara Learning Suite, this is a list of all of the classes that you are a teacher of in Hāpara–you will see the same classes on the Hāpara Manage Classes page.
If your school only subscribes to Hāpara Digital Backpack, this will be a list of all of the Google Classroom classes in which you are a teacher. You can manage which classes are active in Google Classroom.
Editing access and un-sharing resources in My Resources
If you need to change which resources your students have access to, you easily do that from My Resources.
Simply find the resource tile and click Share on the right hand side. This will open your class list, where you can edit which classes have access to the material by ticking or unticking the boxes next to the class name. Be sure to click Save after making any changes.
If you un-share a resource from a class, the resource will no longer appear in the your learners’ Student Dashboards, and students will not be able to open any links to that resource.
