Removing Hapara from your G-Suite instance Follow

Please note, removing the Admin Access grant and Hapara Dashboard Marketplace app are removed from your G-Suite instance, this prevents all Hapara functionality. To discuss discuss bulk deletion of any Google groups or users, please submit a request to our support team, before completing steps 1 and 2 below.

 

1. Remove the Admin access grant.

    1. Log in to your Hapara Admin Console.
      https://td-admin.appspot.com/<your_domain>
    2. Navigate to Configuration > Google Apps Settings.
    3. Delete the value in the Access grant field.
      Clicking "Test Super Administrator Access" should report the message "Please enter a valid account name and try again later."
    4. Click Save changes.

 

2. Uninstall the Hapara Dashboard Marketplace app.

  1. Login to your G-Suite admin console
  2. Click Apps.
  3. Click G Suite Marketplace apps.
  4. Click Hapara Teacher Dashboard.
  5. Click the Delete App on the left hand side.

 

3. Remove the Hapara Highlights Extension from Organizational units:

  1. Login to your G-Suite admin console
  2. Navigate to Devices > Chrome management > Apps & extensions
  3. Select the Organizational Unit you wish to remove the Highlights extension from
  4. Click into the Hapara Highlights Extension
  5. Click the trash can icon, this should highlight the extension row in red
  6. Click Save up the top right
  7. Repeat from step 3 for each OU you with to remove the Highlights extension from.

 

4. Delete any Google Groups associated with your classes in Hapara Dashboard (optional)

Many schools choose to leave Google groups intact, please submit a request to our support team if you're unsure and we'd be happy to help answer any questions around deleting google groups.

  1. Login to your G-Suite admin console
  2. Click Groups.
  3. Check the boxes for the groups that should be deleted.
  4. Click the trash can icon in the upper right corner.

Below is a list of group prefix names that Hapara may have created in your domain:

  • td.administrators
  • td.all
  • td.archived
  • td.current
  • td.students
  • td.students.archived
  • td.users
