A student in my class is in a Guided Browsing session that I did not initiate Follow
If you are a teacher, and you notice a student in your class is already in a Guided Browsing session that you did not initiate, follow the steps below to release them.
Problem
It is likely a previous teacher has failed to release the student from an already existing Guided Browsing session. You will see the message that "Some students are currently in a Guided session." Note: If you are the teacher who initiated the session, the target icon will NOT be yellow, designating the difference.
Solution
- Click Release all to end the session for all students in the class.
- To release a student individually, click on the yellow target.
- You will be prompted to verify that you want to release the students that are in a Guided Browsing session initiated by another teacher. Click Release from focus (or filter) session.
