Hapara Data Loader looks different? Follow
In August 2016, we improved the Hapara Data Loader with streamlined workflow and improved functionality including:
- A step by step guide through the Data Loader options:
- Automatic daily import of Classes, Teachers, and Students for some schools
- Easy to configure connectivity to the Clever, PowerSchool, or Classlink RosterServer
- Decide how Hapara class names are generated
- Wizard-based decisions on how folders are used
- An improved process for manually loading spreadsheets:

- Load a simplified Class spreadsheet with fewer columns.
- Improved documentation including context-sensitive help.
- Improved look and feel including a landing page that summarises your options.
Automatic daily import of Classes, Teachers and Students
You can now use Data Loader to automatically load student, teacher and class information each day. Automated syncs are available from the following vendors Clever, ClassLink, or PowerSchool.
You can easily configure how Hapara connects to Clever or PowerSchool:

This configuration eliminates the need for many of the “tricky” columns in the Classes spreadsheet. We also provide sample spreadsheets that match your configuration, ready for you to populate:
