Privacy: time/ IP restrictions: step 3 Follow

More about IP address ranges

IP address restrictions can be configured using single IP addresses or IP address ranges. IP address ranges are expressed using the format <IP Address>/<Mask>. The Mask specifies how many sections of the IP address are locked down.

Examples

  • If the Mask is 8, then only the first section of the IP address is locked down. e.g.203.125.23.72/8: all IP addresses starting with 203 will be allowed through.
  • If the Mask is 16, then the first two sections of the IP address is locked down. e.g.203.125.23.72/16:  all IP addresses starting with 203.125 will be allowed through.
  • If the Mask is 24, then the first three sections of the IP address is locked down. e.g.203.125.23.72/24 means that all IP addresses starting with '203.125.23' will be allowed through.
