G Suite for Education Device Settings (Optional): Step 1 Follow

Restrict sign-ins to only school domain accounts

This is configured in the Google Admin console at

admin.google.com > Device management> Chrome management > Device settings > Sign-in restriction 

This needs to be set to Restrict Sign-in to list of users with a value provided that ensures that students can only sign in to the device with their school domain account.
